Swag Store
Less waste. More good. Your call.
At most conferences, the first thing you do is collect a bunch of stuff.
Some of it's useful. Much of it is nice, but not needed — so ends up in the trash, then a landfill, maybe eventually the ocean. Yuck.
We're all in the doing-good business. So we figured our gatherings should do some good too, and cut the harm. Since ComNet23 Atlanta, we've done swag differently. Instead of handing everyone a bag of stuff, we let you pick the one thing that matters to you.
The ComNet26 Swag Store is open. Pick one option below by August 14, 2026:
Give to a San Diego nonprofit
Take home a San Diego souvenir
Grab a ComNet26 branded item (limited run)
Since 2023, ComNet attendees have given nearly $50,000 to local nonprofits through the Swag Store.
If you don't make a selection by August 14, we'll donate in your name to one of the San Diego nonprofits below.
You can:
Support a San Diego Nonprofit
Maybe you don't need another thing. Put it to work instead. We've found local organizations doing real good in San Diego. Pick one and we'll donate $25 in your name.
Bring Home a Local Souvenir
Beaches, a border-blended food scene, gardens and museums. San Diego is worth taking a piece of home. Choose from a range of local items.

A few questions, answered.

It's how ComNet does conference swag. Instead of handing everyone the same bag of stuff, we let you pick the one thing that matters to you — a donation, a local souvenir, or a branded item.
-
Two reasons: waste less, mean more. Most conference swag ends up in a drawer or a landfill. This way you get one thing you'll actually use, and we order only what people choose.
-
Make your choice by August 14. We track every selection, so we order the exact number of items and nothing extra.
-
We'll donate to a local San Diego nonprofit in your name. Either way, you're part of it.
-
Yes. Everyone gets a ComNet26 tote — the Swag Store is what goes in it, or instead of it.
-
No. Choose a nonprofit and we'll donate $25 on your behalf.

At the swag table near registration onsite. If you chose to donate, there's nothing to grab. Thank you.

Not even close. Swag is one part of how we try to be good guests and neighbors when ComNet comes to town. We aim to be sustainable always, wherever we can. We donate leftover food, and we recycle or upcycle materials that would otherwise hit the trash. Look for the TerraCycle boxes around the conference — and ask any ComNet staffer if you'd like to know more about how we handle food and waste.
