Accessibility

The Communications Network is committed to creating an inclusive, safe, welcoming environment for all attendees.

At ComNet26, we will have:

  • Real-time ASL interpreters and CART captioning for keynotes on dedicated screens in the main ballroom

  • The option to watch several keynotes virtually (all will be available for replay)

  • We have prepped the hotel staff of your allergies and dietary preferences that you shared during registration. If the buffet doesn’t meet your needs, please talk to a hotel staff member to get your needed meal

  • Hand sanitizer at the registration desk and in the meal room

  • ADA-compliant buses going to and from the Welcome Reception

  • Gender inclusive restroom in the Indigo West Restrooms Floor: lobby (level 2)

  • Learning Lab and Case Study takeaways online in advance

  • ShowCase Session materials shared out post-conference

On request, we can have ready for you:

  • A quiet, low-stim space away from the main activities

  • Hotel provided private lactation room, with fridge access = speak to the front desk or bellhop to gain access

  • Wheelchair access/ramps with advanced notice

  • Reserved/extra seating

We ask that those who smoke cigarettes and use tobacco vape pens to do so outdoors at least 200 feet away from the venue entrance.

For more information on any of the above (or to ask about a specific need not listed), please contact Amy Luebbert in advance at aluebbert@comnetwork.org.

We are grateful to all our sponsors. Interested in joining? Learn more here.
